This is what happens when you have to much pesto on hand lol, just love it. So instead of a sauce i decided to make butter of my homemade pesto. You can use the butter with freshly baked hot bread so goood! or just bake with it so all those flavors will come free.
- 125 gr. Butter
- Few leaves of basil
- Chili flakes
- 1 tbsp. pine nuts
- 1 tbsp. pesto
- Need the butter on room temperature so get it out the fridge in time.
- Chop the basil.
- Mix into a bowl the butter, basil, pesto and add chili flakes to taste.
- Roll down in kitchen foil and safe it in the fridge until you want to use it.
